Why are we drawn to running water? I continue to ask myself why is it so unexplainable, the forces that draw us to running water? I can sit by the running water and lose my sense of time and space, my troubles move past me like a floating leaf and my thoughts become all-encompassing!

Jeremiah 17:7-8 says "But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit."

Maybe taking the time to be still by the running water is all it takes for me to re-focus on the important things, and the "heat" in my life just helps me to grow? What would it do for you...
